Harmony Weddings & Events was founded in 2015 out of our passion to plan and coordinate beautiful, seamlessly-run, and personalized weddings. After two years of planning weddings all over the Triangle, we learned that there were a shortage of venues that checked off all the “must haves” for the couples we were serving. We began looking for an opportunity to run a venue and were blessed with the chance to lease an existing building, do some minor renovations and launch it as a wedding venue on January 1, 2018! We named it Forest Hall at Chatham Mills and discovered our love of venues. The website creation, marketing, relationship building and most of all, connecting and serving our clients all became a passion of ours. Our next dream was to purchase a building that we could carefully craft every single element of the space to best serve our couples and guests.

After two years of constant searching, we found our perfect spot! When we saw photos of what has now been named The Graham Mill, we immediately knew it was the one. It was originally built as part of Oneida Mill in 1934 and is the perfect blend of historic and modern. We officially purchased the building in July 2019, completed the zoning and permitting process and began construction in November 2019. It would be our joy to host your wedding or event!

Aneesa Glines

Owner and Director of Operations

I was born and raised in Raleigh and have always loved the beauty, diversity and Southern hospitality NC has to offer. I am a UNC Tar Heel and started Harmony Weddings (our wedding planning company) in 2015. I have had the joy of personally planning and/or coordinating over 150 weddings! Since I was little, I would watch every wedding themed TLC show and I wanted to go to every wedding my parents got invited to. The things I love most in life are spending time with family and friends, musical theatre, community service, snuggling babies, blankets, Dr. Pepper and anything with chocolate. My test result on the Myers-Briggs personality test confirms that I am 99% extroverted, which allows me to joyfully interact with vendors and guests for 12 hours straight with a smile on my face. No matter how many weddings I am fortunate to be a part of, I still get giddy when I see the bride in her dress, loudly cheer when the couple has their first kiss, cry at the sweetness of the toasts, and already begin to miss the couple when I line them up for their exit. I feel so blessed to be hosting your special day.

Hannah Dixon

Director of Client Relations

​I grew up in the small town of Lewisville, NC and graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne University (GO BEARS) in 2014 with BAs in Public Relations and Multimedia Journalism. I moved to Chatham County in 2017 and since moving, embarked on a new adventure…becoming a Goat Farmer! Some of my favorite goats include Dwight, Lorelei, Lavern, Shirley, and Girlie Girl 🙂 I’ve worked in customer service roles since college and thoroughly enjoy building relationships and friendships with our couples and vendors in the wedding industry. I love the south, the Tarheels and sweet tea. I believe in Southern Hospitality and strive to give our couples the individualized attention they deserve! I enjoy helping to build your day from start to finish and using my knowledge of local vendors to help you create the day of your dreams. My favorite part of the wedding day is watching all the little details fall into place and seeing our couples enjoy their new marriage surrounded by those who are most important to them. As Director of Client Relations, it is my joy to be there to support you every step of the way!

Tara Burgio

I am Florida born and Carolina raised! My childhood dream turned greatest accomplishment is being a mom! I am the oldest of 4 children so I've been raising babies since I was just a kid myself 🙂 My hope is to uplift those around me through spreading kindness, seeking joy, laughing often, giving grace and dreaming big! I am a goal setting, passion driven, totally tenacious kind of gal. I truly enjoy the human connection and serving the many kindhearted souls we are fortunate to have as clients. I love taking the time to learn about you and your story and hear about your hopes and dreams! I am blessed to do that every day in a job that allows for such joyous connections and relationship building. I love seeing how the couple’s vision for their special day is brought to life through dreaming, planning, and collaborating with such talented vendors. I love the teamwork! Everyone from catering to the florist, from the planners to the DJ, from the couple themselves to their close family and friends; everyone works together as a unified team to make this special day magical. Sydney Preudhomme

Venue Host

​I was born and raised in Durham, North Carolina and will forever be a TarHeel. I ventured to the metropolitan area of Charlotte to earn my bachelor's degree from UNC Charlotte, explored the NC mountains at Appalachian State while earning my Master's. I came back to the triangle to raise and grow my family! I enjoy spending time outside in nature, trying new foods, experimenting in the kitchen, crafting, bargain shopping and working out. I grew up watching my mom throw large parties for our family and my love for creating opportunities to celebrate any occasion with loved ones grew from there. I use my organizational, visualization and people skills to plan celebrations for friends, family, and others in my community. My favorite part of any event is seeing the pure joy in someone's eyes when I've helped make the vision for their special day come to life. I enjoy the challenge of managing multifaceted events and executing the small details in order to leave a maximum impact. I look forward to meeting you and helping bring the vision for your special day to life at The Graham Mill!
